At Granite Start, we believe that children cannot be truly prepared to learn unless they have strong self-esteem. The development of strong self-esteem and confidence begin with a child’s earliest experiences. As early childhood educators we must build a solid foundation that allows an infant to learn how to problem-solve, a toddler to learn how to self-regulate, and a preschooler to learn how to resolve conflicts. We believe that to promote each child’s uniqueness, we must appreciate and respect each family we serve.
